AMIX Marine Services moves what the coast depends on. Our International Load Line–certified fleet of tugs and barges connects road, rail, and water with the reach to run from Alaska to California — backed by terminal facilities in Port Alberni, Howe Sound, Prince Rupert, and Nanaimo. Whatever the cargo, we build the route around it.
Chip Barging
AMIX runs a fleet of Load Line–certified chip barges with capacity up to 6,500 tons, paired with a dedicated chip transloading facility in Prince Rupert. Chips arrive by truck, load directly onto barge, and move straight to mill — a tight, efficient handoff built for volume.
General Towing & Barging
From heavy equipment and breakbulk to bulk goods, construction materials, and demolition debris, our barges — some rated to carry more than 15,000 tons — deliver heavy cargo anywhere in the world.
